As part of my Illustration degree we went on a weeks trip to Seville, Spain, on a drawing trip. The aim of our time there was to collect as much visual information from our surroundings which we will be using on projects from when we return until Christmas.
We had our crits under this crazy structure every evening, it was such a lovely place to congregate.
There is a bridge in Seville where couples go and lock a padlock on to the railings to signify their love for one another. They throw the keys in the river flowing below. Every so often the council sends along men with bolt cutters to remove all the padlocks’.
A colour study based on Seville, a vey useful too when time is limited.
